Bacon Wrapped Chipolatas Ingredients
- 16 Beef or Pork Chipolata Sausages (ensure you check the carb count and check ingredients for fillers and preservatives or find a good butcher, high-quality sausages have fewer carbs in them).
- 16 slices of Bacon
- ⅓ cup of Homemade Sugar-Free Barbecue Sauce (If you’re not fussed about being low carb you can use regular BBQ Sauce)
How to Make Bacon Wrapped Chipolatas
- Preheat oven to 200C/400F.
- Wrap the chipolata sausages in a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place in a roasting tray.
- Roast for 10 minutes then remove and brush with half of the barbecue sauce.
- Roast for another 10 minutes then baste with the remaining barbecue sauce. Cook for another 10-15 minutes until your sausages are cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before carefully removing the toothpicks.
- Serve immediately with extra Barbecue Sauce for dipping.
