This Keto Cauliflower Pizza Crust recipe is a great staple to your low-carb menu. It’s thin, crispy on the edges, and tastes delicious.
This keto cauliflower pizza base recipe makes four servings or two slices. One serving is a quarter of the pizza crust and has 2g net carbs – the nutritional information is for the crust only and does not include the toppings.
You can add whatever toppings you like to the cauliflower pizza crust, but you must account for the change in macronutrients.
Cauliflower Pizza Crust Ingredients
- 9 ounces of Cauliflower
- ¼ cup of Parmesan Cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup of Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons of Almond Flour
- 1 large Egg
- ½ teaspoon of Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoon of Oregano, dried
- ⅓ cup of Keto Marinara Sauce
- 4 ounces of Buffalo Mozzarella, sliced
- Fresh Basil, to serve
How to Make Keto Cauliflower Pizza Crust
- Preheat your oven to 220C/425F. Grease and line a round baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Break the cauliflower up into florets and process into “rice” in your food processor.
- Place the riced cauliflower into a bowl and microwave, uncovered, for 4-8 minutes, until soft and cooked through. Set aside to cool for 5 minutes.
- Spoon the cauliflower into a clean kitchen towel or cloth and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
- Add the cauliflower to a mixing bowl with the parmesan, shredded mozzarella, almond flour, garlic powder, oregano, and egg. Mix well.
- Press the mixture onto your prepared pan and smooth out to a 10in a circle.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
- Top with Keto Marinara Sauce and slices of buffalo mozzarella (or your preferred toppings).
- Bake for another 8-12 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
- Cut into eight slices and serve.
