Fried Halloumi with Low Carb Lemon Dressing Ingredients

  • Low Carb Lemon Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons of Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon of Dijon Mustard
  • 1 pinch White Pepper
  • 1 pinch of Erythritol
  • 1/4 cup of Olive Oil
  • Fried Halloumi
  • 8 ounces Halloumi Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil

How to Make Fried Halloumi with Low Carb Lemon Dressing

  1. Low Carb Lemon Dressing
  2. Place the lemon juice, mustard, salt, pepper, and erythritol in a multi-speed blender and mix on high speed for 3 minutes.
  3. Drop the speed to medium and slowly add the olive oil in a steady stream.
  4. Continue blending for 2 minutes, then taste and adjust the seasoning. Set aside.
  5. Fried Halloumi
  6. Slice the halloumi into 7mm/0.25in slices.
  7. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. Ensure the oil is nice and hot before adding the halloumi.
  9. Fry the halloumi for 2-3 minutes, or until nice and brown before flipping over for another 2-3 minutes.
  10. Remove from the pan and drizzle with the lemon dressing. Enjoy.

Low Carb Lemon Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard

  • 1 pinch Pepper white
  • 1 pinch Erythritol

Instructions

Fried Halloumi
