Keto Grilled Beef Tri-Tip with Herb Marinade

This is a simple, keto-friendly recipe for grilled beef tri-tip with herb marinade that is great for almost any diet (unless your diet doesn’t include meat). It’s a delicious cut of meat that is relatively cheap to buy.

This grilled beef tri-tip recipe makes four servings. One serving has 1g net carbs.

  • ¼ cup of Oregano
  • 2 tablespoons of Rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons of Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Salt
  • ½ teaspoon of Pepper, ground
  • 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 1 tri-tip roast, about 2 ½ pounds

How to Make Grilled Beef Tri-Tip Keto-Friendly

How to make tri-tip keto-friendly.
  1. Finely chop the oregano and rosemary and add garlic powder, salt, pepper, and oil to a small bowl. Mix well.
  2. Rub the herb marinade over the tri-tip, cover, and chill for at least 3 hours or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat your grill, leaving a section allowing indirect heat after searing the tri-tip.
  4. Sear the tri-tip for 2-3 minutes on each side until nice and browned.
  5. Move to the indirect heat section and cook for 10-20 minutes until you reach an internal temperature of 62C/143F (or your preferred temperature).
  6. Remove from the heat, cover with foil, and rest for 15 minutes.
  7. Slice and serve!
