This delicious Keto Chai Latte is a beautifully spiced, creamy tea recipe that is very low carb and easy to make, an excellent bulletproof replacement for those who don’t like coffee.
Since we use whole spices in this tea recipe, it is ideal for cooking slowly.
If you don’t have a slow cooker, gently simmer the chai for 30 minutes to an hour on your stovetop.
Keto Chai Latte Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup of Water, boiling
- 2 tablespoons loose leaf Black Tea (or 4 tea bags)
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 8 Cloves
- 6 Allspice Berries
- 4 Cardamom Pods
- 2 Star Anise
- 2 scoops MCT Powder
- 2 cups of Unsweetened Almond Milk
- ½ cup of Heavy Cream
- 2-3 tablespoons of Erythritol
- 4 tablespoons of Keto Whipped Cream, optional
How to Make Keto Chai Latte
- Add the black tea to the boiled water and leave for 4 minutes to brew.
- Add the remaining ingredients to your slow cooker and set to high.
- Strain the black tea and add the liquid to your slow cooker. Mix well.
- Cook on high for 3 hours.
- Strain out the spices and pour the chai into 4 glasses.
- Top with Keto Whipped Cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy immediately.
