Keto Cheese Grits

These tasty Keto Cheese Grits have all the flavor you love without the carbs. They are a great side dish for Homemade Rotisserie Chicken, or just top with grilled shrimp.

This Low Carb Cheddar Grits recipe makes 4 serves. 1 serving is approximately ½ cup and has 4g net carbs.

Store leftover Keto Cheese Grits in the fridge for up to 3 days. We don’t recommend freezing as it becomes quite watery when defrosted.

  • 2 tablespoons of Salted Butter
  • 2 cloves of Garlic, crushed
  • 3 cups (300g/10oz) of Raw Cauliflower Rice
  • ½ teaspoon of Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of White Pepper, ground
  • 3 drops of Corn Flavoring
  • ⅓ cup of Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 3 ounces of Cheddar Cheese, shredded

How to Make Keto Cheese Grits

How to make Keto Cheese Grits
  1. Place a saucepan over high heat, add the butter and garlic. Saute for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the cauliflower rice and saute for another 2 minutes before adding the salt, pepper, cornbread flavoring and cream.
  3. Bring to a simmer then add the almond milk.
  4. Simmer for 5-8 minutes, until the cauliflower is tender.
  5. Stir through the cheddar and remove from the heat.
  6. Serve warm topped with extra cheddar cheese and chopped parsley, if desired.
