  • 2 packets of Shirataki Fettuccini
  • 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 10 ounces of Homemade Italian Sausage
  • ½ cup of Chicken Stock
  • ½ teaspoon of Xanthan Gum
  • 3 cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
  • 8 ounces of Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • ½ cup of Heavy Cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 ounces of Parmesan Cheese, shredded
  • Fresh Basil, to serve

How to Make Keto Creamy Sausage Pasta

How to make Keto Creamy Sausage Pasta
  1. Prepare the fettuccini according to the packet directions, drain well and set aside.
  2. Place a nonstick frying pan over high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the sausage. Brown while breaking up into smaller pieces. Set aside.
  3. Whisk the xanthan gum into the cold chicken stock, set aside.
  4. Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil to a saucepan over high heat, add the garlic and saute 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add the thickened chicken stock, and canned tomatoes, mix well.
  6. Bring to a simmer, then add the browned sausage and cream.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Add in the drained fettuccini noodles and mix well.
  9. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from the heat.
  10. Serve topped with parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
