Keto Creamy Sausage Pasta Ingredients
- 2 packets of Shirataki Fettuccini
- 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 10 ounces of Homemade Italian Sausage
- ½ cup of Chicken Stock
- ½ teaspoon of Xanthan Gum
- 3 cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
- 8 ounces of Canned Diced Tomatoes
- ½ cup of Heavy Cream
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 ounces of Parmesan Cheese, shredded
- Fresh Basil, to serve
How to Make Keto Creamy Sausage Pasta
- Prepare the fettuccini according to the packet directions, drain well and set aside.
- Place a nonstick frying pan over high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the sausage. Brown while breaking up into smaller pieces. Set aside.
- Whisk the xanthan gum into the cold chicken stock, set aside.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil to a saucepan over high heat, add the garlic and saute 1-2 minutes.
- Add the thickened chicken stock, and canned tomatoes, mix well.
- Bring to a simmer, then add the browned sausage and cream.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add in the drained fettuccini noodles and mix well.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from the heat.
- Serve topped with parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
