It’s a very easy recipe – the flavour is good, but the texture was more like a soft pound cake rather than bread. I will probably try some with natvia jam and whipped cream 😉
Thanks, Obe.
Thank you so much for this recipe I made them today for thanksgiving absolutely delicious nothing like others I’ve tried
Thanks for the feedback Faye so glad you liked them.
If we are goi g to go through the trouble of making only 6 small rolls can we double the recipe to make more rolls’or bigger rolls?
Hi Rose,
You certainly can.
I used a popover pan (that’s all I had) and substituted Greek yogurt for the sour cream. I sprinkled a bit of parmesan cheese on top prior to baking. They were really great!!
Thank you for your nice comment Linda, will give the parmesan a go next time.
Very good recipe as is. So many possibilities for adding on…like spices, cheese, jalapeños, etc….Now I want square muffin mold!
Made these to accompany dinner the other night and they were light, fluffy, and tasty. I think this will be my base recipe, and I will try variations using different extracts. The texture of these is spot on!
HI
It came out perfect. I added 3 tbsp coconut flour and 1 tespoon xantham gum….. This recipe is a winner …. quick/soft/tasty
Hi
What do you think of adding a bit of monkfruit sweetener?
Hi Sally,
If you like a little sweetness in your dinner rolls, then go for it! I think 1-2 tablespoons would work nicely.
These were very good. I added a little garlic pwder and everything bagel seaaoning on top and they were amazing!
What a great idea! I’m so glad you enjoyed them, Kelly 🙂
Can you make these in a muffin tin instead of square?
Hi Alisha,
You certainly can!
I was a little reluctant to try these because I am usually disappointed in bread type keto recipes, but I just took these out of the oven, and I must say I am very impressed. The flavor is wonderful, and they sort of remind me of corn muffins. I used unsalted butter, but I found they are a little on the salty side, so I will cut back the salt the next time, or if I use salted butter, I will eliminate the salt completely.
These are so good, I ate one without anything on it. They have a very light texture, and I think the sour cream is what makes these rolls special. I have the Wilton square muffin pan, but I also have the Wilton silicone square muffin liners, so this makes it easy to get them out of the pan without any sticking.
I am truly impressed with this recipe, and I plan to make them often.
Thanks for stopping by to leave your feedback, Gail! I’m so glad that you enjoyed them 🙂
Just make these rolls very easy and not bad tasting. Will make them again.
Just tried this recipe…very easy to follow and tastes good….
I watched the video on youtube first. You didn’t mention oven temp or how long to bake them. Glad I found the recipe on the web.
Hi Sally,
We always leave a link to the recipe in the notes under the video. If something is missing from the video (let’s face it, we’re only human), the written recipe is just 1 click away 🙂
not so hard to follow instructions.
