This super simple and effective keto pastry recipe is perfect for savory baking recipes. We use it for our delicious keto sausage rolls and also make a variety of pies with it.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces of Mozzarella Cheese, grated
  • 1 ounce of Butter
  • 3 ounces of Almond Flour
  • 1 teaspoon of Xanthan Gum
  • ½ teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 large Egg

How To Make Keto Pastry

How to make keto pastry.
  1. Place the mozzarella cheese and butter into a small saucepan over low heat. Melt completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the almond flour, xanthan gum, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add the melted cheese and the egg to the dry mix, and knead into a smooth dough.
  4. Roll the dough between 2 pieces of parchment paper into a rectangle 30cm/12in wide and 5mm/0.25in thick.
  5. Cut or shape the pastry to suit your recipe and filling.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Place the mozzarella cheese and butter into a small saucepan over low heat. Melt completely.

  • Cut the dough to suit your recipe.
