Pork Belly Stir Fry Recipe

What makes this pork belly stir fry special is that we use tamari sauce in place of soy sauce. Tamari is thicker than soy sauce and contains no gluten; it is also lower carb, making it healthier.

This Pork Belly Stir Fry recipe makes two servings. One serving has 4g net carbs.

Store leftover Pork Belly Stir Fry in the fridge for up to 3 days. We don’t recommend freezing as the cooked vegetables can get watery.

Pork Belly Stir Fry Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon of Sesame Oil
  • 5.5 ounces of Pork Belly, cut into cubes
  • ½ teaspoon of Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of White Pepper, ground
  • 6 stalks of Broccolini
  • ¼ cup of Tamari Sauce
  • 2 bunches of Bok Choy
  • Sesame Seeds to garnish

How to Make Pork Belly Stir Fry

  1. Place a wok or large saucepan over high heat.
  2. Add the sesame oil and pork belly. Saute, often stirring, until the pork gets brown and crispy.
  3. Add the garlic powder and pepper, and mix well before adding the broccolini.
  4. Saute for 2-3 minutes before adding the tamari sauce, followed by the bok choy.
  5. Cook until the bok choy has softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Split the stir fry between two bowls and garnish with sesame seeds!

Notes

Tamari is available at most grocery stores, but you can replace tamari with soy sauce if necessary just be aware that soy sauce is higher in cabs and is not gluten-free.
